This week Brianna won the trophy. Well done you!

Better words than 'said'

We have come up with some words that we are going to try and use in our writing when we use speech.  We know that there are some rules around using speech marks.

• New speaker = New line
• Speech marks show where talking starts and stops.
• We should use speech for effect, not all the time.

Here is a wordle of our replacement words for SAID.
